AI Caricatures at Events: Figurines, Sketches and Stickers in Seconds
The LUNO Events Team
Published · Updated · 5 min read
Imagine your guests walking away as a glossy collectible figurine, complete with a walnut base and a nameplate with your event name. That's the kind of reaction AI caricatures get: a laugh, a "wait, that's me?" and an instant post to the group chat.
LUNO AI Caricature turns one photo into a stylised keepsake in seconds, with new looks every day. An AI caricature station turns a guest's photo into a figurine, travel sketch or watercolour sticker in a few seconds, finished with your event name, for individuals, couples and groups of up to 10.
Quick answer: price, area and booking
AI Caricature is part of LUNO Labs, our digital event experiences, and is quoted per event. LUNO brings it to parties, graduations, weddings and brand activations across Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto and the areas we serve across the GTA.
1. How an AI caricature works
A guest picks one of the featured looks, chooses who's in the photo and selects a theme. They take their photo (or upload one), and in a few seconds their caricature appears, ready to save and share. If they want another style, they can try a different look.
The whole thing takes under a minute, so even busy events can offer it to most guests.
2. The looks guests choose from
Looks rotate, so there's always something new. A typical set of three:
- Figurine: a glossy collectible statue on a walnut base
- Travel sketch: ink and coloured pencil, with a landmark of your choice at night
- Watercolour: a cheerful sticker in a splash of colour
Themes add context, from birthday and wedding to graduation, holiday and celebration, and a nameplate can carry your event name.
3. AI caricature vs a live caricature artist
| Caricature artist | AI caricature | |
|---|---|---|
| Time per guest | 3–5 minutes | A few seconds |
| Styles | One artist's style | Several looks, changing often |
| Groups | Hard to draw well | Up to 10 people |
| Feel | Personal, hand-drawn | Surprising, highly shareable |
If you love watching a portrait being drawn, our live sketch portrait station gives that experience at a faster pace. If you want variety and instant shareability, AI caricatures win.
4. Privacy and consent
Before the photo is taken, guests see a clear consent screen: their photo is sent to a third-party AI service to create the caricature, and LUNO keeps the finished caricature, not the original photo. Joining LUNO's mailing list is optional. This upfront clarity matters at family events and is often a requirement for corporate HR teams.
5. Where AI caricatures shine
- Graduations and proms: teens share their figurines instantly.
- Corporate holiday parties: a "team figurine" for every department.
- Brand activations: the reveal draws a crowd to your booth.
- Milestone birthdays: a nameplate with "Dad's 50th" on every figurine.
- Weddings: a playful extra during cocktail hour.
6. Setup and space
- A small table and a screen or tablet
- Reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Even light on faces
- A sign showing today's three looks
Because the reveal is so visual, put the station where others can see the results. A screen showing finished caricatures pulls more guests over than any sign.
7. Getting the best results
Clear, well-lit faces make the best caricatures. Ask guests to remove sunglasses, face the camera and keep groups close together. For large groups, a step back helps everyone fit in frame. A few test photos before doors open help us find the best spot in the room.
8. Making it part of the party
AI caricatures work best when they become a shared moment rather than a quiet corner activity. A few ideas hosts use:
- Show the results on a screen near the station, so every new caricature gets a reaction.
- Match the theme to the event: graduation caps for a grad party, holiday sparkle for December.
- Use the nameplate for the event name or a hashtag, so shared images point back to your celebration.
- Pair it with a booth: a printed strip from a photo booth and an AI figurine make a fun before-and-after pair.
- Announce the looks of the day: because looks rotate, guests at a weekend event may see something new on day two.
Example: a high school graduation party in Mississauga
Say 80 graduates and parents gather in a Mississauga hall. The station runs the figurine look with "Class of 2026" on the nameplate. Grads line up in friend groups of four or five, every figurine lands in their camera rolls within seconds, and the hashtag fills up before dessert.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an AI caricature take?
A few seconds once the photo is taken. Guests pick a look, snap a photo and see their caricature almost immediately, which keeps the line short.
Is the guest's photo kept after the AI caricature is made?
Guests agree before their photo is sent to a third-party AI service to create the caricature. LUNO keeps the finished caricature, not the original photo.
Can groups get an AI caricature together?
Yes. Guests choose who's in the photo, from just one person to groups of up to 10, so couples, families and teams can share one caricature.
