Cocktail hour has a problem: the couple is busy with photos, the canapés are gone in ten minutes and guests are left making small talk by the bar. A good game changes that, as long as anyone can play it in a cocktail dress with a drink in the other hand.

LUNO Champagne Tower is a one-tap game built for exactly that moment. The Champagne Tower game has guests stack tiers of gold-rimmed coupes with one tap each, about a minute per game, with a live leaderboard for the night and a framed 4×6 keepsake of every tower.

Quick answer: price, area and booking

Champagne Tower is part of LUNO Labs, our digital event experiences, and is quoted per event. LUNO sets it up at weddings, engagement parties and corporate receptions across Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto and the areas we serve across the GTA, on its own or alongside a booth.

    1. How the game works

A row of champagne coupes glides across the top of the tower. Tap anywhere to set it down. Whatever hangs past the tier below tumbles off, so the next row gets narrower. Land a row almost exactly for a "perfect pour," and three perfect pours in a row widens the tier again.

When the tower finally tips, or a row misses completely, champagne pours down through every glass in a satisfying finale. Then the score appears: tiers built, perfect pours and your rank tonight.

    2. Why it works at weddings

    • One finger, no rules to read: guests understand it by watching one game.
    • About a minute a game: lines move fast, and people come back for "one more."
    • On theme: champagne, gold rims and a pour fit a reception far better than a generic arcade game.
    • A shared leaderboard: the tallest towers of the night create a friendly rivalry between tables.

    3. The leaderboard effect

The board is what turns a game into a party moment. Once a groomsman posts a 12-tier tower, his rivals line up to beat it, and the MC can announce the champion before dinner. Hosts can clear the board for a fresh start, for example between cocktail hour and the late-night reception.

The leaderboard is kept on the device for your event only. Nothing about a guest leaves the screen unless they choose to take their keepsake home, which keeps things simple and private for family weddings and work receptions alike. A champion's name on the board is all the fame most guests want.

    4. A keepsake from every game

At the end of a game, players add their name to the board and can take home a framed 4×6 of their tower. It's a small, unexpected favour that guests share far more than a table card.

    5. Where to set it up

    Spot Works because
Cocktail area Guests are waiting and mingling
Beside the bar Natural foot traffic
    Lounge corner Seating for spectators
Near the booth One entertainment zone

The game runs on a large touch screen or tablet on a stand. It needs a power outlet and a little space for a few spectators, who always gather.

    6. Sound and atmosphere

Champagne Tower has its own original music for the start screen, gameplay and results, plus clinking glasses with every tier. During speeches, sound can be turned off entirely, or music muted while the clinks stay on, so it never competes with the DJ.

    7. Pairing it with a booth and guestbook

Champagne Tower fills cocktail hour; other experiences carry the night. Many couples pair it with a video guestbook for heartfelt messages and a 360 photo booth rental for the dance floor, so every part of the evening has something to do.

    8. Ideas to make it yours

    • Announce a prize for the tallest tower of the night, such as first pick of dessert.
    • Run a table challenge: the table with the most perfect pours gets the next song request.
    • Name the champion in the MC's toast.
    • Use it at engagement parties and anniversaries, where a champagne theme is already in the air.

Example: cocktail hour at a Mississauga venue

Say 220 guests wait 75 minutes while the couple finishes portraits. A Champagne Tower screen sits beside the bar, and within 15 minutes a small crowd is cheering each tier. By dinner, the board shows a 14-tier tower from the bride's grandfather, the MC announces him as champion, and the photo of his framed keepsake ends up in the wedding album.

    Frequently asked questions

How long does a game of Champagne Tower take?

About a minute. Each tap sets down one tier of glasses, so the line keeps moving and guests can play several times during cocktail hour.

Do players get anything to keep?

Yes. At the end of each game, players see their tiers, perfect pours and rank tonight, add their name to the board and can take home a framed 4×6 keepsake of their tower.

Can older guests play the Champagne Tower game?

Easily. It's one tap per tier with one finger, no instructions to read, which is why grandparents and kids end up competing on the same leaderboard.
