Branded 360 Booth Activations for Launches and Trade Shows
The LUNO Events Team

A 360 booth is one of the most effective tools for a brand activation. It stops people in their tracks, gives them a reason to step into your space and sends them away with a short, shareable video that carries your brand to their followers. At a product launch in Toronto, a pop-up in a Vaughan mall or a trade show in Mississauga, a well-designed 360 activation can draw a crowd that a static display never would.
Making it work takes more than renting a booth. If your marketing team wants foot traffic and shareable content from your next launch or trade show, here's the branding, staffing, layout and measurement that turn a 360 booth into a real activation. A successful branded 360 activation has a clean overlay and end frame, a footprint that invites people in, a staff member beside the attendant, a clear call to action and a plan for measuring results.
1. Define what success looks like
Decide before the event what you want the activation to achieve:
- Foot traffic into your exhibit or pop-up
- Social shares and impressions
- Leads collected, with proper consent
- Content for your own channels
Your goal shapes the overlay, the call to action and what you measure afterwards.
Be realistic about which goals a booth can serve at once. A booth optimized for fast throughput and social shares works differently from one designed to collect detailed lead information. Choosing one primary goal keeps the experience simple for guests and the results easy to read afterwards.
2. Design the overlay and end frame
The overlay and end frame are where your brand lives on every clip. Keep the overlay subtle, a logo in a corner and a frame in your colours, so the people stay the focus. Put the stronger message on the end frame: your logo, a short campaign line and a handle or URL.
Send vector logos, brand colours and fonts with your booking, and approve a test clip before the event.
3. Plan the footprint
A 360 booth needs a clear circle, a buffer and a queue area. At trade shows, that has to fit within your exhibit space and the show's rules on height and power. Position the booth where passers-by can see the action from the aisle, and leave room for the line without blocking your display.
- Check exhibit dimensions and height limits
- Confirm power at your space
- Plan the queue so it faces the aisle
- Leave room for a staff member to talk to visitors
4. Staff it properly
The booth company's attendant runs the booth and keeps guests safe. Add someone from your team beside them to talk to people waiting in line, explain your product and handle questions. The wait is your best opportunity for a conversation.
Give your staff a short script. A friendly line about what the brand does, one question to ask the visitor and a clear next step, such as scanning a QR code or picking up a sample, turns a fun clip into a real conversation. Keep it light; people are there to have fun, and a hard sell in the queue undoes the goodwill the booth creates.
5. Props and moments
Props that tie into your brand or product make clips more memorable: a product held up to the camera, branded signs or a themed prop that suits your campaign. For launches, a confetti moment in your colours at the front of the spin creates a striking clip.
6. Music and licensing
Music makes 360 clips come alive, but shared clips that carry commercial music need proper licensing. Ask your booth company which tracks are available for shared clips and check with your brand team before adding your own.
7. Collecting leads responsibly
If you're collecting emails or phone numbers at the sharing station, write clear consent wording, explain how the information will be used and follow Canadian privacy and anti-spam rules. Your legal or privacy team should approve the setup before the event.
Think about the people who won't step on the platform. Some visitors are happy to watch but not to be filmed. A screen showing recent clips (with guests' permission) and a staff member ready to chat lets them engage with the activation without being on camera.
8. Measure and reuse
After the event, review how many clips were made and shared and how your own posts performed. Ask for the full gallery so your marketing team can build a recap video or social campaign. For multi-day events, posting a daily highlight reel keeps momentum going while the event is still on.
Example: a three-day trade show booth
Say you're exhibiting at a three-day trade show in Mississauga with a 10 by 20 foot booth. Check the show's height and power rules first, then position the 360 at the aisle edge so passers-by see the spin. Your end frame shows your logo and a short line about your product. Put a sales rep beside the attendant to chat with people waiting. Each evening, post the day's best clips on LinkedIn. By day three, people arrive at your booth already knowing about it.

Frequently asked questions
How much space does a 360 booth need at a trade show?
It needs a clear circle for the arm, a buffer and space for a short queue. We confirm the footprint for your exhibit when you book; the SKY 360 takes 5–12 guests per spin and the Glass 360 takes 3–5. Check the show's exhibit dimensions and height limits before booking.
Can we add our own music to the 360 clips?
Music on shared clips needs to be properly licensed for that use. Ask your booth company which tracks are available and whether your brand team has approved music you can use.
Can the activation run for several days?
Yes. Multi-day conferences and pop-ups can book the booth for each day. Ask about overnight storage at the venue and whether the same attendant can work every day.
