360 Booth Rental in the GTA: Everything to Know Before You Book
The LUNO Events Team
Published · Updated · 5 min read
The 360 booth has become the headline act at GTA celebrations. You'll find one beside the dance floor at Brampton sangeets, in the lobby at Toronto product launches and in the middle of Vaughan wedding receptions, with a line of guests waiting to step up and spin. It's also the booth that raises the most questions: How much room does it need? Is it safe? Why does it cost more? How early do I need to book?
If you're comparing 360 booth quotes for a reception, sweet sixteen or launch anywhere from Brampton to Scarborough, these are the answers you'll want before you pay a deposit. Renting a 360 booth in the GTA means booking early, confirming a clear circle of floor space with power near the dance floor, insisting on a full-time attendant and comparing quotes on hours, overlays and sharing.
1. How a 360 booth works
Guests stand on a round platform while a motorized arm carries a camera in a circle around them. The software turns the footage into a short slow-motion clip with your overlay and music, and guests send it to their phones from a sharing station. LUNO runs two models, the Glass 360 and the SKY 360. For the full walkthrough, read what a 360 photo booth is and how it works.
2. Where 360 booths shine
- Wedding receptions, sangeets and mehndi nights
- Sweet sixteens, debuts, quinceañeras and milestone birthdays
- Corporate launches, galas, holiday parties and trade shows
- Proms and graduation parties
They work best where guests are dressed up and ready to move. For a quiet office lunch or a small afternoon gathering, a digital booth is usually the better fit.
3. Space and venue requirements
A 360 booth needs a clear circle for the arm, a buffer so nobody gets bumped, a queue area and a spot for the sharing station. It also needs a flat floor, power nearby and enough ceiling height for raised arms and props. Banquet halls across Brampton and Vaughan usually have the room; Toronto condo party rooms and Mississauga restaurant private rooms need measuring first. See how much space a 360 photo booth needs.
4. What drives the price
| Cost driver | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Hours booked | Each clip takes longer than a photo, so hours matter more |
| Platform and model | Larger platforms fit more guests per spin |
| Attendant | Required for safety and line management |
| Overlays and effects | Custom design and video processing |
| Styling | Backdrops, stanchions, lighting, props |
| Travel and access | Parking, elevators and load-in times |
LUNO quotes each booking for your booth, hours and location; the Standard, Premium and Luxury packages are listed with what each includes. Our 360 cost guide explains each line.
5. Booking lead times
GTA companies own fewer 360 booths than digital booths, and each needs a trained attendant, so 360 dates go first. For May to October Saturdays, the weeks around Diwali and December holiday parties, book as soon as your venue is confirmed. For weekdays and off-season dates, a month or two is often enough.
6. Making the clips great
The difference between an average 360 clip and one guests share all week is movement. Brief your wedding party or team on a few moves, choose an overlay with your names or logo and ask the DJ to announce the booth after dinner. Our list of 360 booth poses and moves has 15 ideas to share before the event.
7. Safety and the attendant
A spinning arm at shin height needs constant attention. A good attendant limits how many guests step on, stops the arm if anyone wanders into its path, keeps props short and light and helps older guests and kids on and off. Never book a 360 booth without a full-time attendant, whatever the price difference.
8. Questions to ask before you sign
Bring this short list to every 360 quote:
- Which model is it, and how many guests fit per spin?
- What's the clear circle needed, including the safety buffer?
- Is the attendant there for the full booking?
- Are slow motion, music and a custom overlay included?
- How do guests receive clips, and do I get every clip afterwards?
- Is travel to my venue included, and who covers parking?
- What are the deposit, balance and cancellation terms?
Comparing companies on the same questions makes it much easier to see where a lower price comes from, and whether you'd notice the difference on the night.
Example: a 200-guest reception in a Vaughan hall
Say you're hosting a 200-guest reception at a banquet hall off Highway 7, with dinner ending around 9 p.m. Ask the hall for the floor plan and pick a corner beside the dance floor with an outlet nearby. Book the 360 from 9 to 12, when the dance floor peaks, rather than from cocktail hour. Send your names, date and colours for the overlay a few weeks ahead, brief the bridal party on one group move, and ask the DJ to announce the booth right after the first dance. You'll get the longest line at exactly the right time, and you won't pay for a booth that sat idle through dinner.
When to bring in a booth company
If you've got a date, a venue and a crowd that loves to dance, you're ready to price a 360 booth. Send the company your floor plan or photos of the spot so they can confirm the fit.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver 360 booths across the whole GTA?
LUNO delivers 360 booths from Brampton to Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto and surrounding GTA communities. Check the service area on our contact page, and ask about travel to your venue when you request a quote.
Can a 360 booth run for the whole event?
Yes, but most hosts book it for the busiest stretch, from the end of dinner through the first hours of dancing. That's when the line is longest and the energy is highest.
Is a 360 booth suitable for corporate events?
Very. Branded overlays and end frames turn every clip into shareable content for launches, galas and trade shows. Ask about logo placement and how clips can be collected for your marketing team.
