How Much Does a 360 Photo Booth Rental Cost in the GTA?
The LUNO Events Team
Published · Updated · 5 min read
A 360 photo booth looks simple from across the room: a round platform, a camera on a spinning arm and a line of guests waiting to step up. Pricing one is less simple, because a 360 rental is part equipment, part video production and part crowd management. That's why quotes across the GTA can vary so much for what sounds like the same thing.
If you've received two 360 quotes that look nothing alike, this breaks down what you're actually paying for at events in Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan and Toronto, with a checklist to compare them fairly. Where LUNO's own rates belong, we've left placeholders rather than guessing. The cost of a 360 photo booth rental in the GTA depends on booked hours, platform size, attendant and video editing, overlays and sharing, and travel, so compare what each quote includes rather than the headline price.
1. Hours of operation
Like any booth, 360 rentals are priced in blocks of time. Because 360 videos take longer per group than a still photo, the hours you book matter more. A group spends time stepping on, recording, stepping off and sharing, so a longer window serves more guests.
- LUNO packages: 3 hours (Standard, Premium) or 5 hours (Luxury)
- Each extra hour: available as an add-on, listed on your quote
- Idle time during dinner or speeches: ask whether it counts toward your hours
2. Platform size and model
Larger platforms fit more people at once, which suits big wedding parties and corporate teams, but they also need more space and a longer arm. LUNO runs two 360 setups, the Glass 360 and the SKY 360. Ask any company you're comparing:
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| How many people fit on the platform at once? | Sets how quickly a crowd gets through |
| How long is the rotating arm? | Determines the clear circle you need on the floor |
| Is the platform lit or plain? | Affects how the videos look in a dark hall |
| Glass 360 vs SKY 360 at LUNO | Glass 360 fits 3–5 guests per spin; SKY 360 fits 5–12 and adds disco lights and music |
If floor space is tight, read how much space a 360 photo booth needs before choosing a platform.
3. The attendant is not optional
A spinning arm at shin height needs someone watching it at all times. A good 360 attendant loads guests on and off safely, coaches them on moves, stops the arm if someone wanders in and keeps the line organized. If a quote doesn't include an attendant for the full booking, it isn't a like-for-like comparison. At LUNO, an attendant is part of every 360 booking.
4. Video effects, editing and overlays
Each 360 clip is processed before it's shared. The more polish, the more setup work behind the scenes. Check which of these are included:
- Slow motion and speed ramps
- Music added to the clip (and whether it's licensed for sharing)
- A custom overlay with your names, date or logo
- A branded start or end frame for corporate events
- Boomerang or reverse effects
A custom overlay is one of the cheapest upgrades with the biggest payoff, because it turns every shared video into a keepsake of your event. Our overlay guide shows what to include.
5. Sharing station and gallery
Most guests want the clip on their phone before they're back at their table. A sharing station (usually a tablet near the booth) lets them send it by text, email or QR code. Ask whether you'll also receive every clip after the event in an online gallery or on a USB. LUNO's USB of all images and videos is [CONFIRM: included or add-on].
6. Styling: backdrops, stanchions and lighting
A 360 video shows everything behind your guests, so the background is part of the product. Options that change the price:
- A backdrop or LED panels behind the platform
- Stanchions and a red carpet to frame the line
- Extra uplighting in a dim banquet hall
- Props sized for video, such as confetti cannons, signs or money guns
At LUNO, a premium backdrop and premium props are included in the Premium and Luxury packages, and custom backdrops, flower walls and shimmer walls are available as add-ons.
7. Travel, parking and venue rules
Distance within the GTA matters less than access. A Toronto venue with paid parking and a freight elevator takes more time than a Brampton banquet hall with a loading door. Ask whether travel is included for your venue, who pays for parking and whether a late teardown changes the price. If your venue requires proof of insurance, confirm the booth company can supply it in time.
Example: comparing two 360 quotes side by side
Say Company A quotes a lower price for three hours and Company B quotes more for the same time. Before choosing A, put both into the checklist above. You may find A's hours start at setup, the attendant leaves after an hour, the overlay is an extra charge and there's a parking fee for your Toronto venue, while B includes all four. Once both quotes cover the same things, the gap often shrinks or disappears. Ask each company to confirm in writing what's included, then compare the totals.
When to bring in a booth company
Once you know your date, venue and rough guest count, you have enough for an accurate 360 quote. Book early for May to October weekends and December corporate parties, when 360 booths are in high demand across the GTA.
Our 360 photo booth rental includes an attendant, setup and teardown and instant sharing. We deliver from Brampton to areas across the GTA, including Mississauga, Vaughan and Toronto. Frequently asked questions
Why does a 360 booth usually cost more than a regular photo booth?
A 360 booth needs a dedicated attendant for safety, more floor space, more setup time and video processing for every clip. Those costs sit on top of the equipment itself, which is why 360 packages generally start higher than a digital booth.
Can I book a 360 booth for less than the full reception?
Usually, yes. Many hosts book the 360 booth for the busiest stretch of the night, such as right after dinner. LUNO's packages run 3 hours (Standard and Premium) or 5 hours (Luxury), and extra hours can be added on your quote.
Do guests get their 360 videos the same night?
With a sharing station, guests can usually send their clip to their phone by text, email or QR code within moments of stepping off the platform. Ask whether a full gallery of every clip is included after the event.
