360 Booth Video Ideas: 15 Poses and Moves for Better Clips
The LUNO Events Team
Published · Updated · 5 min read
Everyone steps onto a 360 platform with the same plan: wave at the camera. That makes for a fine video, but the clips people replay and share all week usually have one thing in common: somebody planned a move. Slow motion rewards motion. A twirl, a toss or a reveal looks far better slowed down than a group standing still.
Here are 15 poses and moves, grouped by type, that work well at weddings, birthdays and corporate events across Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan and Toronto. Share them with your wedding party or team before the event. The best 360 videos come from simple, bold movements done slowly and in sync, such as twirls, tosses and reveals, rather than standing still and waving.
1. Solo moves
- The slow twirl. Spin once, slowly, with arms out. Dresses, lehengas and sarees look spectacular in slow motion.
- The hair flip. Start facing down and flip up as the camera passes the front.
- The jacket toss. Throw a blazer over one shoulder as the camera comes around.
2. Couple moves
- The dip. One partner dips the other as the arm reaches the front. Practise once to keep it safe.
- Back to back. Stand back to back, arms crossed, then turn to face each other.
- The forehead kiss. Simple, quiet and lovely in slow motion, especially at weddings.
3. Group moves
- The wave. Everyone raises their arms one after another as the camera passes.
- The freeze. Everyone dances, then freezes in a dramatic pose on a count of three.
- The huddle reveal. Start crouched in a huddle and burst up together.
- The synchronized step. A simple step-touch or a bhangra shoulder move in unison.
4. Prop moves
- Confetti toss. Throw confetti straight up just as the camera reaches the front.
- Money gun or bill toss. A crowd favourite at birthdays and receptions.
- The sign reveal. Hold a sign facing away, then flip it toward the camera: "Just Married", "Happy 40th" or a team slogan.
5. Moves for kids and families
- The jump. Kids jumping up and down look like they're flying in slow motion. The attendant will cap the number of jumpers.
- Three generations. Grandparents seated or standing in the middle, grandkids around them, everyone waving. It's often the most treasured clip of the night.
6. Outfit and timing tips
- Wear something that moves. Flowy fabrics, long hair and jackets add drama.
- Mind the sparkle. Sequins and embroidery catch the ring light beautifully.
- Go early. The line peaks right after dinner; the first hour of dancing is the busiest.
- Plan one move, not five. A clip is only a few seconds long once it's slowed down.
7. Safety and courtesy on the platform
- Follow the attendant's limit on how many people step on
- Keep props short and light, nothing that reaches the arm
- No heavy lifts or piggybacks unless the attendant says it's safe
- Step off on the side the attendant points to
- Let the next group go; you can always line up again
These rules keep the line moving and keep everyone, including the equipment, in one piece. A good attendant will also stop the arm if someone wanders into its path.
8. Moves for corporate events and brand activations
Corporate crowds are often shy at first, so give them a reason to step up:
- The team reveal. Department or project teams stand with their backs to the camera, then turn together as the arm passes the front.
- The product moment. At a launch, one person holds the product up to the camera at the front of the spin while the others cheer.
- The trophy pass. At an awards night, winners pass the trophy along the line as the camera circles.
A branded end frame with your logo and campaign line turns each clip into content people post on LinkedIn and Instagram. Brief your MC or DJ to announce the booth right after the formal programme, when people are ready to loosen up.
Make the clip yours
Your overlay ties every move back to your event. A custom frame with your names, date or logo turns a fun clip into a keepsake. See our overlay guide for what to include, and how a 360 booth works if your guests have never used one.
Example: briefing your wedding party in five minutes
Say your wedding party has never used a 360 booth. At the rehearsal, take five minutes: pick one group move (a slow wave as the camera passes), one couple move (the dip) and one prop moment (confetti on a count of three). Text the three moves to the group chat the night before. On the night, when the attendant opens the booth after your first dance, your wedding party goes first and shows everyone how it's done. Guests copy what they see, so a confident first group sets the tone for the whole evening.
When to bring in a booth company
If your crowd is the type to plan moves, a 360 booth is a natural fit. When you book, ask the attendant to suggest a few signature moves for your event; they've seen what works in every kind of room.
LUNO's 360 photo booth rental comes with an attendant who coaches guests through their moves, plus slow motion, custom overlays and instant sharing. We serve Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughan, Toronto and areas across the GTA.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can do a pose on the 360 platform?
It depends on the platform size. LUNO's Glass 360 takes 3–5 guests per spin and the SKY 360 takes 5–12. The attendant will always set the safe number for your group.
What props work best in a 360 booth?
Props that move: confetti, streamers, fans, bubble guns, oversized sunglasses and signs. Avoid anything long or heavy that could hit the arm, and follow your attendant's guidance.
Should we practise 360 moves before the event?
A quick rehearsal helps wedding parties and teams. Pick two or three moves, agree on who does what and send them this list. Most guests learn on the spot from the attendant.
