360 Photo Booth Rental in Toronto: Condos, Lofts and Downtown Venues

Toronto venues are some of the most varied in the country, and that makes a 360 booth both exciting and a little more complicated here. A loft with exposed brick in Liberty Village, a hotel ballroom downtown, a glass-walled rooftop on King Street, a banquet hall in Scarborough and a condo party room in North York can all host a 360 booth. What changes is how the booth gets in, where it fits and what the room looks like in a full-circle video.
If your Toronto venue has a loading dock, a freight elevator or a condo concierge, here's how to get a 360 booth in the door, fit it into the room and make the full-circle background look good. A 360 photo booth in Toronto needs a booked loading dock or elevator, a clear and level circle with enough ceiling height, power nearby and a background that looks good from every angle.
1. Getting the booth in the door
Access is the first hurdle downtown. Most towers, hotels and lofts have:
- A loading dock with booked time slots
- A freight or service elevator
- Security check-in for vendors
Ask your venue for the loading details and share them with your booth company. The 360 booth breaks down into cases, so it travels in standard service elevators, but time slots matter.
2. Ceiling height and floor space
Lofts and ballrooms usually have plenty of height. Condo party rooms, basement bars and some restaurant rooms don't. A 360 booth needs room for the arm, the light pole and guests' raised arms. Measure the ceiling and the clear floor space, and send photos to your booth company before booking. See how much space a 360 booth needs.
3. The full-circle background
A 360 clip shows the whole room as the camera circles. In a Toronto loft, that can be a feature: brick walls, big windows and city lights. In a hotel ballroom, it may include service doors and stacked chairs. Pick a spot where the full circle looks good, and use a backdrop or uplighting to frame the main angle.
Glass walls and windows can reflect the booth's lights, especially at night. A slight shift in position usually fixes it.
Lighting in Toronto venues varies widely. Lofts with big windows are bright at a summer cocktail hour and dark by nine; hotel ballrooms switch to coloured dance lighting after dinner; rooftops lose daylight quickly in the fall. Ask your booth company to check the light at setup and again once the room changes, so the clips look consistent all night.
4. Condo party rooms
Condo party rooms are popular for birthdays and family events across North York, Etobicoke and downtown. Before booking a 360 booth:
- Measure the room, ceiling height and clear floor space
- Book the service elevator for setup and teardown
- Confirm the room's end time and noise rules
- Arrange vendor parking or a loading spot
If the room is small, a digital booth may be the better choice.
5. Hotels and banquet halls
Hotel ballrooms downtown and banquet halls in Scarborough, North York and Etobicoke usually have plenty of space for a 360 booth beside the dance floor. Confirm load-in times, other events in the building and the outlet nearest the dance floor. Some venues require a certificate of insurance from vendors; ask early.
Banquet halls in the inner suburbs also tend to have easier parking and larger loading doors than downtown venues, which can shorten setup and reduce costs. If your guest list is large and you want a 360 booth with plenty of room, these venues are often the simplest fit.
6. Rooftops and patios
Toronto's rooftop venues are spectacular in summer. They can be windy, so choose a sheltered corner, weigh down backdrops and keep light props in a bin. Plan for rain, and check that the surface is level for the platform.
7. Parking and travel time
Downtown traffic and construction can add time. A good booth company builds in a buffer and knows where to unload. Ask whether parking is included in your quote, or whether the venue provides vendor spots. LUNO quotes each booking for your booth, hours and location; the Standard, Premium and Luxury packages are listed with what each includes; mention paid venue parking when you ask for a quote.
8. Timing your booking
Toronto's busiest 360 dates are wedding season Saturdays, December corporate parties and summer launches and festivals. Book as soon as your venue is confirmed, especially for Saturdays. For corporate events downtown, see our guide to corporate photo booths in downtown Toronto.
Example: a loft party in Liberty Village
Say you've booked a third-floor loft in Liberty Village for a 30th birthday. Ask the venue for the freight elevator booking and where the vendor can unload, then send both to the booth company. Walk the room and choose a corner where the 360's full circle shows brick walls and the city view rather than the catering station. If there's a big window, ask for the booth to be angled so the ring light doesn't reflect in the glass. Those three details make the difference between average clips and great ones.

Frequently asked questions
Will a 360 booth fit in a freight elevator?
The equipment breaks down into cases that fit standard freight and service elevators. Tell us if your building only has a passenger elevator so we can plan the move.
Can a 360 booth go on a Toronto rooftop venue?
Often, if the surface is level, power is available and the venue allows it. Rooftops can be windy, so a sheltered corner and a plan for rain are important.
How early should I book a 360 booth in Toronto?
As early as possible for May to October Saturdays and December corporate parties. 360 booths are limited, and Toronto's busiest weekends fill well in advance.
